Hello!
Wow! Actually forgot I had this travel blog ready and willing.
A pity that I got caught up and forgot about it.
But that was then.
That was when a boy who was in love and felt like Korea was going to be a one off thing and didn't really need a travel blog.
But as 2015 tolls in and I sit here at my desk at job #2 in Korea, I realize.
I'm kind of going to be here for a while. Might as well try and support the actions of why when my friends say "should I come to Korea?" I always and willing say "Yes. Really. Super. Please come."
And not out of loneliness!
Moving to South Korea (for reasons that for the time being we should say were simply for "Getting a Job") was unknowingly one of the best things I did with my life after college.
I'm going to write a big reflection post on the past year of working in Korea and then hopefully (because I really should) I'll start properly writing a nice little travel blog about what its like to live in Korea.
Well...what its like to live in Korea when you are 23 year old bearded man who still gets way too excited when he sees a dinosaur or when Transformers comes on.
Until the next time....

HELLO FROM YONGIN
Hahaha! Thought I died didn't you readers? Nope, I'm alive and well about to go into the second half of my first Friday of work! How exciting is that?
Frankly the reason why an update is so behind is due to setting up the internet at the freaking cool (but needs to be badly cleaned and organized) two-bedroom basement apartment I have in the beautiful city of Yongin in the Sugi district (I think its districts here) of South Korea! I'm about a thirty minute subway from Seoul and I've been here for almost two weeks and I've made some killer friends already and realizations that (might sound a bit soppy) make the heart grow fonder of something that is still back home in Charleston.
I love my students and I have some adventures I can't wait to talk about on here. But first, I gotta go finish up my classes! So expect an update tonight (this morning) for you American readers!
Other than that.....
Geronimo!

And I'm Off
Hello! This is my first journal entry for my travel blog. It won't be much, just saying that I'm currently in the San Francisco airport, listening to Lindsey Stirling's music and keeping myself busy as I continue my 8 hour lay-over.
I honestly can't believe that I'm doing this. I've always been a traveller, but this is my greatest adventure yet. I have to do this story because it will be the tale where I am the adventurer who, by himself, must meet new characters, challenges, and become something I've always wanted to be. I'll be a teacher in a school for a little town out side of South Korea's capital of Seoul, Yongin.
I'm really excited, though frankly, I wish I had some more memories of what I left back in my home of Charleston.
Regardless, my family, my friends, and a special someone made my last week in Charleston awesome and I had some good laughs and moments that are enough to fuel me to go out and do this adventure.
So what will you expect from this blog btw?
Probably pictures. Stories. Teaching lessons. Giant Monsters.
Oh and just if you are following, check out my self-publishing blog for my eight year writing series, TITAN .
Anyways, I hope you guys bookmark this blog and enjoy the stories I will put up here!
Till next time!
